Programs
Any project within the Truckee River or within the 14,000cfs flow channel of the Truckee River will require a 408 Encroachment Permit Authorized by both the District and the USACE Flood Branch. Please submit the application package in full in order to start the review process. Although the District will review the project within 45 days of submittal, the USACE process typically takes up to 1 year to authorize the 408 permit to be issued; please plan ahead.
